Overview: The safety valve automatically opens and closes based on the working pressure of the pressure system, typically installed on equipment or pipelines of closed systems to protect system safety. When the pressure inside the equipment or pipeline exceeds the set pressure of the safety valve, it automatically opens to release pressure, ensuring that the medium pressure inside the equipment and pipeline remains below the set pressure, protecting the normal operation of equipment and pipelines, preventing accidents, and reducing losses.

Safety valves are mainly divided into two types: spring-type and lever-type. Spring-type safety valves rely on the force of the spring to seal the disc and seat. Lever-type safety valves rely on the force of the lever and weight. With the need for large capacity, there is also a pulse-type safety valve, also known as a pilot-operated safety valve, which consists of a main safety valve and an auxiliary valve. When the medium pressure in the pipeline exceeds the specified pressure value, the auxiliary valve opens first, and the medium flows along the conduit into the main safety valve, opening it and reducing the increased medium pressure.
